forwarding address

As previously mentioned we joined the three bazillion (yes bazillion) Americans attempting to sell their homes. Fast forward six months......no serious interest. We concluded this was related to the price tag (come on, she's a real beaut). We decided to rent our home and move forward with building. A week ago Monday we met with the builder and finalized some plans. Thursday morning we had an offer--Friday afternoon we accepted. So let the packing begin. My mom asked me if I felt sad to leave 926 N behind. Today I can confidently say NO. Upon awakening early this morning the thermostat inside the house read a balmy 85 degrees. Honestly, I am feeling a big nostalgic, but we are ready for a change.

Where will be relocating one might wonder? Our new little bungalow should be ready for tenants (that being McKay and me) in October. Until then we will taking up residence at the Westerberg pad. When we explain this to friends they often seemed dismayed we are moving home. I alway reply....you haven't met my parents (Richard & Jewels rock). I look forward to lots of mother-daughter bonding time and many mexican cokes on the veranda with my dad. McKay is particularly excited to take advantage of the LTD shuttle from Preston to Logan.

How exciting that you'll be getting a new home! You will surely be eating well the next few months. I think your Logan home is so cute. You've really fixed it up nice. Now that Katelyn is earning allowance, she's probably ready for her own place. What would you rent it to her for?

WOW, is there really still snow at Richard & Julie's place? I am happy that everything is working out for you. Remember that many divorces come from trying to survive the building/remodeling of a home. Good luck and we will look forward to a Westerberg Christmas party in your beautiful new home.

I want to live with Jewels! It sounds like a blast. Can't wait to see pictures of the new house.

Wendy-it will be a miracle if we survive this event. Our marriage is pretty much in shambles! SHAMBLES!

Why aren't you moving to the Station Creek Lodge during the building stage? After all McKay has put some hard work into that place! It could be like a honeymoon haven that would bring you from "shambles" back to marital bliss. Your Dad could even come up there to drink Mexican Coke on the porch.

Wendy, how did you become so wise? My only request would be a toilet. Another bonus is an instant, very large family....of rats.
p.s. did you know Rachel and Amelia call the hunting lodge the "mouse house." This is of course very insulting to Richard.

I can't help but notice what an old picture that is. Now the house is obscured by shrubbery and trees. We should help mom paint the front door. Hey, you're moving in.
