...It was McKay and Amy (I am likely to take a lot of guff for this post). I found this picture whilst packing and couldn't resist posting it. McKay and Amy met shortly before McKay's mission. I remember this day at the lake well.
Coincidentally, 5 years later I discovered McKay on facebook and sent this innocent message:
Mckay--do you remember when I made you a feast of chocolate chip pancakes smothered with fresh strawberries and whipped cream...after which I took you on a rather trecherous ride on a tube at Oneida Dam? Amy and I were reminiscing a while ago and then I thought I saw you at a ward conference a few weeks ago. Upon face book stalking you and investigating your large photo album I have decided it was not you after all. However, I felt I would drop you a message anyway--for old times sake.

Who knew a fated day at the lake so many years ago and a facebook message would result in the joining of two of the weirdest people I know (yes I am referring to myself and my husband). I am eternally appreciative to my sister for first introducing me to the No. 1 husband and for facebook for reuniting us.

I love it! That is what sisters are for right. PS. I wish we lived closer. Unfortunately we are not moving to Logan, Ben got a job out here. But maybe one day.
i think the fact that amy is squished in next to the little girl instead of mckay was the first sign it wasn't meant to be.
This picture is cracking me up! I think McKay's hair is a riot. The only thing that could have made this love story any better is if Christina had previoiusly dated McKay also.
It's kind of ironic how you are responsible for Patrick and me, you set up Amy and Justin, and thanks to Amy, you have McKay. I couldn't have picked better brothers in law. p.s. Your fetus disturbs me.
why has no one commented on the fact that though this photo was taken just over 8 years ago, Tess still appears to be the same size?
I rather enjoyed this post. So did Dave.... it had him laughing for a good 5 minutes.
