Anyone for a little Canasta?

McKay and I aren't big game-players.  However, since being married we have discovered it is a necessary evil in the "couple world".  Thankfully, our friends Jordan and Rachel have introduced us to two games that are beyond tolerable (even enjoyable).  The first is killer bunnies, which is a completely random game of chance with a bunch of drunk-looking bunnies.  Tonight, we learned the fine art of canasta-playing.  I mainly liked it because it has a certain maturity associated with it (mainly I feel I need a floral cardigan and dentures to play it).  It is a fabulous game.  Sunday I may just take my dad up on that pinochle game he has been offering for years. All I need now is a bowling ball and a bowling league and I'll be set for retirement.

You and McKay should spend FHE at one of the many retirement homes in Logan. I'm sure the aged would welcome your mad skills.

I used to play Canasta every Friday night for years. That was during my "wild" phase, believe it or not.

You can also play online at games.yahoo.com.

While I have not played canasta in a long time, I recently joined a bowling league. I dare say I will beat you to retirement.

It's true games become much more fun after marriage for some reason. Here's a fun one with a group of people you know well...Boxers or Briefs. It is a very funny game and gets us laughing every time! By the way...I think you should get a weener dog.

My grandparents taught us canasta years ago--but I don't remember how. It's been so long. Maybe you'll have to teach us again!

I have always wanted to be a card junkie. There are some old ladies in my ward who play cards once a week and I think I might apply to join their club! I would love to play canasta with you anytime! I don't know if Kade is the canasta type so we might have to leave him home.
